IMO welcomes Armenia's first ever permanent representative March 22, 2022 - 15:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Varuzhan Nersesyan has presented his Credentials to the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization, Kitack Lim, becoming the first permanent representative of Armenia in the organization. "I was delighted to present credentials to the IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim. It is an honor and responsibility to be the first Permanent Representative of Armenia to IMO, and I am looking forward to building a strong foundation for developing maritime diplomacy," Nersesyan said in a tweet on Monday, March 21. Nersesyan currently serves as Armenia's Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
