CSTO members discuss international flights of armed forces![]() April 7, 2022 - 11:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 5–6, representatives of CSTO member states met at the organization's headquarters in Moscow to discuss international flights of the armed forces of the CSTO countries. Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic (via videoconference), Russia, and Tajikistan, as well as the members of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat participated in consultations. During the meeting, common approaches were discussed to improve the organization of international flights by the aviation of the armed forces of the CSTO member states. The coordination of permits for international transit flights related to the transportation of weapons, military equipment and military property was also on the table. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
