Karabakh getting safer road connecting capital to country's north

PanARMENIAN.Net - A new road that would make communication between the Nagorno-Karabakh capital of Stepanakert and the city of Martakert safer will be ready by the end of the year, Hayastan All-Armenian Fund said Thursday, April 21.

The Fund said the construction of the Nerkin Horatagh-Chankatagh highway in the Martakert region is underway.

"It will make the Martakert-Stepanakert road easier and safer to drive," the Fund said, adding that the road will be commissioned by year-end.
