A violinist Sergey Khatchatryan and Mariinsky Symphonic Orchestra to perform in Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - Well-known young violinist Sergey Khatchatryan Mariinsky Symphonic Orchestra (conductor: Valeri Gergiev) will perform in Moscow. The performance will be held within the framework of Easter Festival celebration and feature Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle, Shostakovich Violin Concerto No. 1 and Ravel's Bolero.

The youngest winner of Sibelius International Violin Competition, 26-year old Sergey Khatchatryan has lived in Germany since 1993. In 2005 he won Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium.
