French-style agricultural educational complex to open in Tavush

PanARMENIAN.Net - An agricultural educational complex based on a French model will be established in the Armenian province of Tavush.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport has submitted for public discussion a draft decision on reorganizing the Tavush Regional State College in the town of Ijevan into the Patrick Devedjian Regional College of Tavush foundation.

The center will open its door in September 2022, with specialists trained in France and French lecturers also set be involved in the educational process.

The Armenian Fund of France is planning a number of investments, such as training of teaching staff using professional programs, partial replenishment of teaching and technical materials, renovation of the building, introduction of a cafeteria, furnishing of the dorm rooms, renovation of bathrooms, creation of modern laboratories of chemistry, biology and physics and of a farm tools workshop. A gym and student entertainment hall are also in the plans.

People interested in the project can submit their proposals and comments on the draft until May 26, the Ministry said.
