Azerbaijan violated Karabakh ceasefire overnight

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation on the contact line between Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan was relatively stable overnight although Azerbaijan used firearms to violate the ceasefire in some sections of the border, the Karabakh Defense Army said Friday, August 5.

Some of the servicemen injured in Azerbaijan's recent drone attacks have been discharged from the hospital but three others are in a serious condition, while another one is in a critical condition.

"With the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping troops, work aimed at further stabilization of the situation continues," the press service of the Defense Army said.

Two Nagorno-Karabakh soldiers were killed and 19 others were injured in Azerbaijan's multiple drone attacks on Wednesday, the Defense Army said. The Azerbaijani military continues violating the ceasefire overnight, using various caliber firearms.
