Lawyer: Almost two dozen Armenians taken captive by Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Almost two dozen Armenians have been taken captive by Azerbaijan during the latter’s large-scale aggression in the past two days, lawyer Siranush Sahakyan has said, according to Hraparak.

According to Sahakyan, who represents Armenian prisoners of war before the European Court of Human Rights, videos published online are being examined and verified to identify possible captives.

The International Committee of the Red Cross too is gathering information, she added. The Lawyer also urged family members to provide important information to the ICRC.

The Armenian Defense Ministry said on Thursday morning that no significant incidents were registered overnight. 105 Armenians have been confirmed dead so far.
