Germany to Hold Commemoration Ceremony for Armenian Genocide VictimsApril 14, 2009 - 15:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Commemoration Ceremony for Armenian Genocide Victims will be held on Apr. 24 in Frankfurt am Main. 94th Anniversary Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide due in St. Peter church was organized under the auspices of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Germany and German Armenians' Central Council "April 24 Group" . The reports entitled "Genocide and the Rights of the Nation: "Reflections about 20th Century Relations History" (speaker: Doctor-Professor Otto Luchtekhandt) and "Genocide 1915-16: Could Germany save the Armenians?" (speaker Wolfgang Gust) will be presented. The event will be opened with "Krounk" song, followed by the speech of German Armenians' Central Council Chairman. Musical part of the event will feature the records of several Armenian songs. The commemoration speech and the final prayer will be delivered by Bishop Garegin Bekjyan. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
