Unrecognized Genocides lead to new massacres

PanARMENIAN.Net - At "International recognition of Genocide as prevention method" discussion the experts agreed that unrecognized Genocides and negation policy lead to new massacres.

When questioned by PanARMENIAN.Net reporter as to the steps undertaken to prevent new genocides on behalf of Turkey, Armenian Genocide Museum Deputy Director Suren Manukyan responded that the Armenian Genocide and international recognition process is not only a political action but also a national security issue for Armenia.

"We're not secured against another Genocide repetition. Genocide recognition is a national security issue for Armenia," Manuksyan stated.
