Armenia: Azerbaijan spreading new piece of disinformation

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has spread a new piece of disinformation, claiming that the Armenian troops have used firearms to shoot on Azeri positions on Sunday, October 9 evening, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

“The situation on the border is relatively stable, no significant incidents were registered,” the statement reads.

The latest round of fighting between the two countries began in the wee hours of September 13, when the Azerbaijani military attacked Armenian posts and shelled Armenian settlements both on the border and deep behind the frontline. More than 200 people are dead or missing as a result, the Security Council of Armenia said on Monday.
