Çavuşoğlu tells Europe’s Turks to “react against” Armenian diaspora

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has met with Turkish citizens in Strasbourg and told them to “react against” the local Armenian diaspora.

Çavuşoğlu said Monday, October 10 that Ankara established the Turkish American steering committee in the U.S., which has started “very effective works to counter the slander of the Armenian diaspora against Turkey."

The Turkish diplomat said “unfortunately”, part of the Armenian diaspora in France is not “well-intentioned” and accused them of opposing the normalization between Armenia and Turkey and between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

He also said the Armenian diaspora has a “hostile attitude toward establishing good relations.”

“We expect you to react against this diaspora,” Çavuşoğlu added.
