Top Armenian, Russian, Azerbaijani diplomats to meet Oct 14

PanARMENIAN.Net - At the initiative of the Russian side, a trilateral meeting between Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavorov and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov is scheduled for October 14 in Astana, a spokesperson for the Armenian Foreign Ministry said Tuesday, October 11.

No other details were available.

The latest round of fighting between Armenia and Azerbaijan began in the wee hours of September 13, when the Azerbaijani military attacked Armenian posts and shelled Armenian settlements both on the border and deep behind the frontline. More than 200 people are dead or missing as a result, the Security Council of Armenia said several days later.
