Members of upcoming congressional delegation to Armenia revealed![]() October 15, 2022 - 14:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) has revealed the members of a Congressional Delegation (CODEL) traveling to Armenia in the near future. In particular, Members of Congress Andy Levin, Jim Cooper, Billy Long, Diana DeGette, Gerry Connolly, John Garamendi, and David Price will make the trip to Armenia, ANCA said. The trip comes on the heels of another visit by a congressional delegation led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, which her office described as the highest-ranking U.S. official visit the country since its independence in 1991. The trip was intended to highlight the United States’ “firm commitment to a peaceful, prosperous and democratic Armenia, and a stable and secure Caucasus region,” the California Democrat said in a statement in September. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
