Russian Centre of Science and Culture opened in YerevanApril 16, 2009 - 19:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian and Russian Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov attended the opening ceremony of the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC). In his opening speech Russian Foreign Minister emphasized the importance the centre to intensify cultural ties between Armenians and Russians. Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian agreed with his Russian colleague, expressing hope that the centre might become one of the most frequented places in Yerevan. The decision on opening an RCSC was made in 1997. Russian Foreign Centre was operating in Armenia until 2008.
