Armenia says "important issues" high on agenda at CSTO meetings in YerevanNovember 23, 2022 - 18:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said on Wednesday, November 23 that important issues for the CSTO and the participating countries would be discussed during the organization's meetings in Yerevan. Mirzoyan made the remarks at the extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Ministerial Council in the Armenian capital “Today we are holding a meeting of foreign ministers, and tomorrow we will have a regular joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the CSTO in person. We will discuss issues that are important for our countries and for the CSTO as a whole," the Armenian foreign policy chief said. "For us, this meeting is also important, because this is our first face-to-face meeting after the September aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia. We have about two dozen documents on the agenda regarding issues of foreign policy coordination, military-political cooperation, new threats and challenges, as well as, of course, the situation in the South Caucasus as a whole."
