Levon Aronyan suffered his first defeat in FIDE Grand Prix Tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 3rd round of Grand Prix Tournament in Nalchik, Armenian grand master Levon Aronyan, playing with black figures, was defeated by Ukrainian chess player Sergey Karyakin. The Armenian chess player gave in at the 34th move of the game.



After his victory, Karyakin caught up with Aronyan. Both chess players are leading the tournament with 2 points to their scores.
