Heritage finds boycotting elections most reasonable decisionApril 17, 2009 - 20:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian said that decision not to participate in the impending elections to Yerevan council of elders appears to be the most reasonable step."We often speak about democracy and how it should work. To have the right speak about democracy, we started from ourselves. Let's say, there are situations when I do not agree with decisions of board, but I obey those. So, that is democracy," the party leader said. In respect of criticism and accusations in media that Heritage avoids responsibility, Hovanissian said that is not true. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
