ARMENIAN MINIATURE EXPOSITION OPENED IN PACE

PanARMENIAN.Net - «Armenian miniature of IX-XVI centuries» exposition opened in the hall of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. PACE President Peter Schieder evaluated the opening of such an exposition as another proof of the Armenian people's contribution to the European cultural heritage. "Being situated on the crossroad of civilizations, in the course of centuries Armenia succeeded in establishing various cultural ties and became enriched that way at the same time preserving its cultural peculiarity," - Council of Europe permanent representative in Armenia, ambassador Christian Ter-Stepanian noted in his turn.
