Russia reports ceasefire violation in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian peacekeepers have reported a violation of the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday, February 7.

“There has been a violation of the ceasefire regime in the Martakert region,” the statement says.

According to the Russian side, there were no casualties as a result of violation.

The incident is being investigated by the peacekeeping contingent together with the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides.

On January 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh.
