  Armenia, UAE defense chiefs discuss prospects of military cooperation February 22, 2023 - 12:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan met with UAE Minister of State for Defense Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates. According to a press statement from the Armenian side, the current course and development prospects of military and technical cooperation between the two countries were discussed. At the end of the meeting, Papikyan invited Ahmed Al Bowardi to Armenia. High-tech Industry Minister Robert Khachatryan also participated in the meeting. Papikyan left for the UAE on February 18 to participate in the International Defense Conference and the Idex and Navdex 2023 military exhibitions.
