New U.S. envoy to Armenia vows to do everything to help settle conflict

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Ambassador Kristina A. Kvien has pledged to do everything for finding a long-term solution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and the normalization of ties between Yerevan and Ankara.

Kvien arrived two weeks ago as the tenth U.S. Ambassador to Armenia.

In a fresh video, published on the Embassy’s Facebook page Saturday, March 4, the Ambassador spoke about growing up among Armenian-Americans in California, exploring Yerevan, learning about Armenian history and culture, meeting with people displaced by the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh fighting, and about her support for a lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

Ambassador Kvien said she is looking forward to strengthening U.S.-Armenian ties and helping Armenia build a bright and prosperous future.
