Magnitude 3 quake hits Armenia’s north![]() March 27, 2023 - 12:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A magnitude 3 earthquake struck the area 4 km northeast of the town of Spitak on Sunday, March 26, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The tremor happened at a depth of 10 km below the surface. It has not caused any damage, but was felt by many people as light vibration in the area of the epicenter. Weak shaking was felt in some communities of Lori province. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
