Russian motorized riflemen, pilots hold drills in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The motorized rifle units of the military base of Russia’s Southern Military District (SMD) in Armenia fired from RPG-7V hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers at targets imitating armored vehicles of mock enemy as part of a scheduled training session at the Alagyaz training ground.

During the training, the servicemen hit targets imitating tanks of a mock enemy located at a range of 250-300 m. Shooting was carried out in daylight and at night using day and night observation and aiming devices.

Particular attention of instructors and unit commanders was paid to improving aiming skills in various weather conditions and changing positions after firing shots.

Before the training, the servicemen of the Southern Military District studied the device and combat capabilities of the RPG-7V, tested the safety requirements when handling weapons and firing from them.
