Gabriel Sargissian takes 3rd prize at Rustam Kasymzhanov Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargissian came in the third at the international tournament Rustam Kasymzhanov Cup which wrapped in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on March 29.

With a total prize pool of $70,000, the tournament featured 20 chess players from 9 countries competing two groups: masters and challenger.

The participants played 10 rounds.

Sargissian won three games, drew five and lost just one in the final round.
