During the event, Abbas Mohamad will deliver a report entitled "Armenian Genocide Organized in the Ottoman Empire". The report will be followed by "Julfa and Its Inhabitants" film presentation. It features the history of the town of Julfa. The destruction of the Armenian churches is not fully covered there, as the scenes shot on the territory of Iran were cut. The film shows Azeri servicemen barbarically destroying several thousand Armenian Khachkars on Azerbaijani authorities orders. "The event is a good opportunity for Berlin residents to become aware of 1915 Armenian Genocidem," Freie Universitаt Berlin lecturer, Indo-European and Comparative Linguistics Doctor Zhirayr Kocharyan told a PanARMENIAN reporter. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
