Armenia reports injuries as Azerbaijan launches artillery attack

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani military has been firing artillery and mortars in the direction of the Armenian positions located in Sotk, Gegharkunik province since Thursday, May 11 morning, the Armenian Defense ministry reports.

"The units of the Armenian Armed Forces are taking appropriate protective and preventive measures," the Ministry said in a series of statements.

"The reports of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan alleging that on the evening of May 10, the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions, as a result of which an Azerbaijani soldier was injured, is not true."

As of 08:00, the Armenian side has reported 3 injuries.
