Kurds apologize to Armenians and Assyrians

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pro-Kurdish Party Leader Ahmet Türk apologized to Armenians and Assyrians for 1915 tragic events, Dogan News Agency reports. "Kurds probably contributed to empire's cultural wealth annihilation. We feel ashamed when looking at our Armenian and Assyrian brothers," Mr. Türk stressed, adding that Kurds are always ready to apologize for their misdeeds and fight for world peace.

Last December, 200 Turkish intellectuals launched an Internet campaign under the slogan "Armenians Forgive Us!", with over 30 thousand people to sign the appeal.
