MP suspects Erdogan’s trip behind Armenia-Azerbaijan meeting delay

PanARMENIAN.Net - Lawmaker from Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party Arman Yegoyan has said that the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Baku could be a possible reason for the postponement of a bilateral meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, scheduled for June 12 in Washington, Sputnik Armenia reports.

Yegoyan, who is the head of the parliamentary commission on European integration, told reporters on Tuesday, June 12 that he did not have any information about the possible date of the meeting.

It was reported earlier that the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, scheduled for June 12 in Washington, was postponed at the request of the Azerbaijani side.
