"Moussaner" jazz project to give a concert in MassachusettsApril 28, 2009 - 20:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A unique "Moussaner" jazz group, will perform both its own compositions and folk song arrangements. The music of "Moussaner" is full of various rhythms and melodies, including both Armenian jazz and works by post-modernist European composers.On March 1, ALMA Massachusetts museum-library will organize "Moussaner" group concert within the frameworks of its traditional jazz evenings. Other participants of ALMA concerts were Armena Donelyan, Vardan Hovsepyan, Jerry Bergonzi etc. Half of the musicians of "Moussaner" group have are of Armenian heritage.
