Simonyan made the remarks in an interview with http://News.am on Wednesday, September 6, maintaining that discussions are still underway. “We will discuss it, we will understand what parts are beneficial for our country, and there are many of them, since war crimes have been committed against us, and this is no secret,” Simonyan said. Today, war crimes continue against at least 35 of our prisoners of war, I have nothing to add. We need this, our country needs this.” Simonyan was referring to the dozens of prisoners of war who have been in Azerbaijan’s captivity since the end of the war in Nagorno-Karabakhin the fall of 2020. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
