  Some 13,550 displaced Karabakh residents arrive in Armenia September 26, 2023 - 10:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As of 08:00 on September 26, as many as 13,550 forcibly displaced people have arrived in Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh, the Armenian goverment reports. The first several hundred refugees from war-torn Nagorno-Karabakh crossed into Armenian territory on September 24, as a forced evacuation begins that could lead to a mass exodus of ethnic Armenians from their historic homeland. On September 19, Azerbaijan launched a full-scale offensive against Nagorno-Karabakh, killings and injuring hundreds, including civilians. On September 20, the authorities ov Nagorno-Karabakh agreed to a ceasefire on Azerbaijan’s terms, including the dissolution of the Defense Army.   Top stories As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
