ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARIANS VISITED IRAQ

PanARMENIAN.Net - The members of the Armenian-Iraqi friendship deputy group were in Baghdad the other day. As "Arminfo" agency reports, the visit took place on the invitation of the deputy group of friendship of Iraqi parliament. At the meetings with the country leadership, particularly with the chair of the Iraqi parliament Sadun Hamadi, vice Premier Tarik Aziz and members of the government the exchange of views on the ways of the development of the bilateral relations took place. The representatives of the Iraqi leadership especially stated that the government and the people of the country think the blockade against Iraq is inadmissible. Being in difficult economic conditions, Iraq expects not only humanitarian aid but also suggestions for cooperation, they stated. The questions regarding the forthcoming visit of the official delegation of Iraq to Armenia were also discussed.
