Armenia pledges €50K to help Slovenia fight flood consequences

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia has pledged €50K to help Slovenia fight the consequences of floods -the biggest natural disaster in the country’s recent history, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said in a post on X Monday, October 16.

"The [Government's] decision follows FM Ararait Mirzoyan’s visit for the Bled Strategy Forum & meeting with the FM Tanja Fajon, when readiness to help & solidarity was expressed,” Badalyan said.

Devastating floods described as the “worst natural disaster to ever hit” the country have caused $500 million worth of property damage, a government spokesperson said in August.
