Armenia tourist arrivals grew by 48% in Jan-Sep

PanARMENIAN.Net - In January-September, the number of tourists visiting Armenia increased by more than 48 percent compared to last year, according to the country's Statistical Service.

In the reporting period, 1 million 839 thousand 4 tourists visited Armenia, up from the 1 million 239 thousand 394 foreigners that arrived in the country in the same period last yeat.

Travelers from Russia accounted for the biggest share of international arrivals (50.7 percent), followed by those from Georgia and Iran.
