Russia says unaware if Pashinyan will join EAEU, CIS summits

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia does not yet know whether Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is going to participate in the meetings of the EAEU and the CIS, which are to be held in St. Petersburg at the end of the year, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday, November 17, RIA Novosti reports.

Peskov noted, however, that all the leaders of the EAEU and CIS member countries have been invited.

“We don’t know yet, everyone is invited... The Armenian side knows very well that everyone is invited,” Peskov said.

Pashinyan’s spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan said Tuesday that he will not participate in the meeting of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) slated for November 23.
