Armenian envoy: Baku sabotaging peace negotiations with Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is sabotaging negotiations on a peace treaty with Armenia, Ambassador at Large Edmon Marukyan said in an interview with the Public TV.

He recalled that the Azerbaijani side recently refused to go to Brussels for a meeting with Armenia on the initiative of the head of the European Council Charles Michel, then rejected a trip to Washington at the invitation of the United States.

“That is, Azerbaijan showed the international community and us that it does not negotiate, while simultaneously declaring that Armenia allegedly does not want peace. It means they constantly sabotage discussions of the peace treaty, then announce the intensification of negotiations, then sign a peace treaty, but refuse the planned meetings,” Marukyan said.
