Armenian inscriptions unearthed in 12ty century castle in Jordan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian inscriptions were found during excavations in a castle in Jordan founded by the Crusaders in the early 12th century.

Armenian historian, archaeologist, and anthropologist Hamlet Petrosyan said Sunday, November 26 that excavations are led by Italian experts from the University of Florence.

Petrosyan himself has traveled to Jordan to explore the Armenian inscriptions, he added in a social media post on Sunday.
