France has made “historic decision” regarding Armenia, Macron tells army

PanARMENIAN.Net - French President Emmanuel Macron has said his country has made historical choices with regard to Armenia.

Macron made the remarks in his New Year’s address to the French Armed Forces last week, a post on France’s Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies’s X account reveals.

According to Macron, the Balkans and Armenia are seeking France’s attention and have led Paris to “harden our position and make historical choices, in particular, with regard to Armenia.”

The French government has already confirmed it is selling military equipment such as air defense systems to Armenia.
