The Embassy said, however, that U.S. citizens should continue to exercise caution near all international borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In September 2023, the U.S. Embassy issued a fresh Security alert, urging its citizens to exercise increased caution in Armenia due to armed conflict. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
