Armenia refused to participate in NATO exercise due to Alliance's Sec. Gen. statement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia's refusal to participate in NATO military trainings due in Georgia is conditioned by NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer's recent statement on NKR conflict, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan stated.



At the meeting with Azeri President, NATO Secretary General indicated only territorial integrity principle among international norms. According to RA Defense Minister, International Organizations, participating in NKR conflict settlement indicate all norms of international rights: territorial integrity principle, as well as nation's right for self determination and non-use of force.





At his meeting with Azeri President Ilham Aliev, NATO Secretary General stated that NATO supports NKR conflict settlement within the framework of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity.
