"The panel to deal with the issue should be determined," Mr. Zeev Elkin, member of Likud party, told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. "The Armenian Genocide has not been a subject of discussion for 20 years in Israel. You know that on May 26, 2008 the Knesset decided that one of its panels will deal with the issue. It's early to speak of recognition yet and we hope that the discussion will have a positive result," he said.
