Armenian, Russian Foreign Minister discuss bilateral relations

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 5, at the initiative of the Russian side, a telephone conversation took place between Armenian and Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.

Issues related to the bilateral relations and regional situation were on the table, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.

The phone call came after Lavrov declared that Russia hopes to receive a response from Armenia regarding the fulfillment of obligations and participation in joint integration structures, including the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), warning of consequences. Before that, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with France 24 that Armenia has frozen its participation in the Russian-led bloc.
