Armenia police arrest opposition activist Vazgen SaghatelyanMarch 23, 2024 - 13:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Police in Armenia have detained opposition activist, blogger Vazgen Saghatelyan. Saghatelyan is the co-host of the podcast “Imnemnimi”. Earlier on March 22, his co-host Narek Samsonyan was detained. Saghatelyan is the brother of former member of parliament from the Republican Party of Armenia Arman Saghatelyan. The Investigative Committee of Armenia said Samsonyan was detained as part of a criminal case of hooliganism. According to preliminary data, the reason for his detention was insults against the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
