BTA bank to issue MasterCardMay 12, 2009 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - BTA bank has announced the issue of MasterCard, international plastic cards, the bank's Press Service reported. The following plastic cards will be available: Cirrus/Maestro, MasterCard Standard, MasterCard Gold, MasterCard Business. Annual card fee is: AMD 30 000 for "Gold" cards, AMD 20 000 for "Business" cards, AMD 8 000 for "Standard" and AMD 3000 for "Maestro". At cash withdrawal, 0,3% of the sum withdrawn will be retained from "Gold", "Standard", "Business" and "Maestro" cards at BTA terminals. From May 1 to August 1 BTA has announced a 50% discount for annual card fee. The BTA Investbank CJSC, legal successor of the International investment Bank founded in 1991, was renamed BTA Bank CJSC on November 7, 2008. The bank is a strategic partner of one of the largest banks in Kazakhstan, BTA Bank JSC, which holds 48.8% of the BTA Bank authorized capital. The other stockholders are ZRL Company (Austria) (31.1%), and Kazakh-Armenian MOBILEX Company (20%). As of May 11, 2009, the total capital of the BTA Bank reached AMD 5.399.528 thousand, assets AMD 9.307.639 thousand, liabilities AMD 3.908.111 thousand.
