Opposition motorcade en route to Gyumri for large rally![]() June 1, 2024 - 13:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A motorcade of protesters headed by the leader of the movement Tavush for the Motherland, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan is heading to the city of Gyumri in Armenia’s Shirak province on Saturday, June 1. Galstanyan has called for a rally at the Theater Square in Gyumri in the evening “We will leave for Gyumri tomorrow. June 1 is International Children's Day. At 14:00, an event will be held at the Theater Square in Gyumri, children will perform. Then, at the same place, at 18:00, a large rally will be held,” Galstanyan told his followers the previous day. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
