ARF students launch Tebi Erkir repatriation campaign

PanARMENIAN.Net - Seventeen years after Armenia's independence, Armenian American students are coming together to solidify their ties with the homeland and establish their future in Armenia.



ARF "Shant" Student Association started Information campaign in Glendale Tebi Erkir, (Towards Home), comprised of a series of initiatives to encourage students and Diaspora Armenians to travel, support, and ultimately resettle in their homeland.



The first event to kick off this campaign will be an "Opportunities in Armenia" Information Fair on Thursday, May 14, from 7-10 pm at the Glendale Hilton Hotel. "The time has come for us to take ownership of our homeland's future," said Caspar Jivalagian, a lead organizer in the ARF Shant "Tebi Yergir" Campaign.



"We plan to show that not only is repatriation possible, it is a viable option and a tremendous opportunity for our generation," said Mr.Jivalagian.
