Haik Martirosyan wins silver at 2024 Biel Chess Festival July 26, 2024 - 13:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Haik Martirosyan won silver at the 2024 Biel Chess Festival that ended on Thursday, July 25, the Chess Federation of Armenia reports. GM Liem Le had wrapped up victory a day earlier and secured first place, while Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu scored a convincing win over GM Abhimanyu Mishra and ended the tournament in third place. Martirosyan is Armenia’s top rated player who is currently placed 66th in FIDE’s Top 100 rankings.
