Armenian, Turkey representatives to meet on border

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has confirmed Armenia and Turkey’s special representatives for the normalization of ties will hold a meeting on Tuesday.

“On July 30, the fifth meeting of the Special representatives will take place on the Armenia-Türkiye border,” Ani Badalyan said Monday.

Armenia and Turkey have appointed Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan and Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, respectively, as Special Representatives for Normalization Process. After a series of meetings between Special Representatives, direct flights restarted as of 2 February 2022 and it was agreed to open the Türkiye-Armenia border for third country citizens and to commence air cargo trade between two countries on 1 July 2022.
