Russia Security Council chief travels to Iran, then Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu traveled to Iran and Azerbaijan on August 5-6, Interfax reports.

Shoigu visited Iran on August 5. He met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Supreme National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian and Iranian General Staff Chief Mohammad Bagheri in Tehran.

In Baku, Shoigu met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during a working visit to Baku on August 6.
