Armenia mother church to be re-consecrated on Sept 29![]() August 30, 2024 - 13:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The historic Cathedral of Etchmiadzin will be re-consecrated on September 29, according to the press service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the governing body of the Armenian Apostolic Church headquartered around the Cathedral in the town of Vagharshapat. The day before, the ceremony of the blessing of Holy Muron will take place at the St. Trdat Open Altar of the church. The decision regarding both events was made on August 29, at the meeting of the Coordinating Committee chaired by Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
